Oakland Wins Extension of Task Order to Provide Logistics Modernization Program Support

Oakland Consulting Group, Inc. (Oakland) announced today that it was awarded a one-year extension of its contract to provide sustainment support to the Army’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). Oakland’s original contract for this work was awarded in June 2015. Oakland’s support work is performed at two locations: Picatinny Arsenal NJ and Aberdeen Proving Ground MD.
The LMP initiative currently serves more than 21,000 users at over 50 Army and Department of Defense (DoD) locations, manages approximately $22 billion in inventory, and handles over 2 million transactions daily, with interfaces to over 70 DoD systems. The LMP uses SAP’s Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products to deliver capabilities that streamline the business processes associated with the planning, acquisition, supply, maintenance, repair and overhaul of weapon systems, spare parts, and services to the War Fighter. LMP also provides management capability for the Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) and addresses functionality in key Army business areas including: Supply Chain Planning, Provisioning/Material Master Maintenance, Procurement / Acquisition, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Distribution, Maintenance Programs and Depot Operations, Ammunition, and Ammunition Supply and Distribution Planning.

Oakland Wins Contract to Provide Software Products and Services to Prince George’s County, MD

Oakland Consulting Group (Oakland) was awarded a prime contract by the Prince George’s County Office of Central Services to provide commercial off the shelf software products (COTS). The scope of the 2 year contract encompasses the following three functional areas:
- Functional Area I – COTS Software
- Functional Area II –Installation and Training Services
- Functional Area III- Manufacturer’s Software Maintenance

Alyce Dawson Joins Oakland Consulting Group, Inc. as Federal Account Executive

Oakland Consulting Group, Inc. (Oakland) announced today that Alyce Dawson has joined Oakland to initially lead Oakland’s work with the U.S. Army and then expand to other federal markets. Alyce will be based out of Oakland’s Headquarters Office in Lanham, MD. The Army represents one of Oakland’s most important clients. Oakland is an awardee of the 10-year $846 million ERP Services IDIQ contract, which Oakland sees as a significant opportunity to expand its Army work.
Alyce brings over 14 years of demonstrated success in operations management, program management and business development for various Army and National Guard organizations, most recently as Acting Director, Logistics Technical Solutions for CALIBRE Systems. Cedric Nash, Oakland CEO, stated “We are very happy to have Alyce on our team. Alyce has demonstrated in multiple settings her ability to successfully manage and grow large services projects for the U.S. Army and she is an expert on logistics management. Oakland Wins Contract to Provide Diverse IT Services to State of Maryland

Oakland Consulting Group (Oakland) was awarded a prime master contract by the State of Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) to potentially provide a wide range of IT support services to any public entity in the State. The services purchasing program is called Consulting and Technical Services+ (CATS+). The contract is effective until April 21, 2028, with a scope encompassing the following functional areas:
- Enterprise Service Provider (ESP)
- Web and Internet Systems
- Software Engineering
- Systems/Facilities Management and Maintenance
- Information System Security
- IT Management Consulting Services
- Business Process Consulting Services
- Media and Training Center Support
- Documentation/Technical Writing
