Oakland Wins ERP Services IDIQ Task Order to support GFEBS
Oakland recently won a one year Task Order to provide General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) support to the Army’s Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management.
Under the Task Order, Oakland will be updating 125,000 Facility Readiness Driver Code data elements for real property belonging to the US Army Materiel Command (AMC) organic industrial base and US Forces Command (FORSCOM). Ron Treusdell, Oakland’s Vice President for Federal Business, noted that “Oakland’s efforts will improve the ability of the Army to accurately assess the readiness of Army facilities by improving data integrity and accuracy – we are very pleased to be a key part of this process”.
The Army GFEBS mission is to develop, acquire, integrate, deploy, and sustain enterprise-wide financial and procurement management capabilities to support the Army’s current and future missions. When fully implemented, GFEBS will be one of the world’s largest ERP systems with some 79,000 end users at more than 200 locations around the world and with about a million transactions a day. GFEBS will enable the Army to better manage current and better estimate future budget requirements for the $140+ billion annual expenditures. The GFEBS SAP ERP solution is a web-enabled financial, asset and accounting management system that standardizes, streamlines, and shared critical data across the Active Army, the Army National Guard and the US Army Reserves.

Culture and Values
Oakland’s culture and values can best be described as Entrepreneurial, Integrity, Service-Based, Relationship-Focused, Flexible, and Goal-Oriented. We exist to serve our clients and our community, and we do so with integrity and flexibility. We leverage innovation to achieve measurable success for our clients. We value our client relationships and our staff contributions.
Oakland embodies a culture of entrepreneurship. We believe that everyone, regardless of role, can contribute to innovation. We encourage collaboration at all staff levels, and staff are rewarded for their contributions to the business.
Honesty in the treatment of staff and clients and in the practice of business should be fundamental. However, in today’s business climate, many businesses spend more energy blurring the lines rather than doing what is absolutely right for all parties. At Oakland, we endear old school values by exemplifying a high degree of integrity in all matters. Despite the intense challenges we face on a daily basis, we believe operating with integrity provides the best ROI in the long run from all perspectives and for all parties.
Commitment to service to our clients and our community is our main objective. Quarterly, we participate in community service projects: we volunteer to work in the local food banks, make donations to community scholarship programs for our youth, provide book bags and school supplies to youth in our local community, and provide meals to families during the holiday season. Oakland believes that commitment to service is key in making the greatest impact on our clients and our community.
We never forget for whom we work. Our clients are people who have something to get done and rely on Oakland to assist them. Our mission is to achieve measureable success for our clients. We believe that if we achieve measureable success for our clients, the best marketing tool on the planet - “Word of Mouth” - will work to our benefit.
Our clients have great responsibilities. We understand that we exist so that our clients can accomplish goals. That’s why we approach each project and opportunity uniquely; we aim to be flexible and provide service in a manner that best suits our clients.
“What is measured, is treasured. What is inspected is respected.” At Oakland, setting and achieving goals is fundamental to everything that we do. Everyone who works for Oakland follows this practice. That’s why and how we are able to help our clients achieve measureable success. That’s why and how we as a company progress together and share in that progress.
