The City of Oakland bid for services to implement an ERP.  Oracle was awarded the bid.  At the end of the project there was a dispute between Oracle and the City regarding the HR payroll module.   Although Oakland Consulting had not been a part of the initial implementation, because of our past performance with the City’s IT department, the City used Oakland Consulting to immediately supply the needed Oracle resources to resolve the critical payroll issues it was experiencing.
The District of Columbia selected PeopleSoft as its software solution for its district-wide Human Resources application.   Oakland Consulting, a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), is partnering with Accenture on this implementation.  Oakland Consulting is providing implementation and training services for PeopleSoft 8.8 HRMS.  The modules being implemented are: Federal HR, Payroll, T&L, Benefits Administration, (eRecruit, eProfile, ePerformance). The implementation is scheduled to be completed in 2005.
The administration of Bowie State University (BSU) discovered a need to improve the visibility of the University’s financial matters. Oakland Consulting was chosen as the prime contractor, delivered the implementation on time, on budget and, upon such implementation of PeopleSoft Financials, entered into a contract to provide ongoing production support.  We were later contracted to upgrade from PeopleSoft Financials 7.5 to 8.5 and played a significant role as the University expanded to the full suite of PeopleSoft products for Higher Education, which include Human Resources, and Student Administration.
Maryland Judiciary is planning to modernize their human resources and financial management system.  To accomplish this, Oakland Consulting was selected as a subcontractor to assist with the gathering of business and systems requirements in order to select a COTS product that best aligns with their requirements. 

The Maryland Judiciary Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) has awarded a second contract to Oakland Consulting Group.  Oakland Consulting is support the courts with a Database Support Technician capable of supporting the network but will also able to assist users with the database in order to guarantee an accurate and complete record for the State.  This technician will have a knowledge and understanding of the databases including an ability to provide and any other ad hoc analysis as needed as well as of a deep knowledge of the network and desktop in order to aid and assist the end users of the twenty four different jurisdictions supply data to MAJIC in a manner which will accurately and completely reflect the statistics. 
Oakland Consulting was awarded an IDIQ contract from the State of Maryland, Department of Information Technology.   The Maryland DOIT contract is for five years.  Oakland will provide the State with  system facility/management maintenance,  application service provider, IT management consulting, business process consulting, and training.
Based on our long standing relationship and excellent track record PeopleSoft Global Services selected Oakland Consulting Group to serve a role to provide consulting expertise in technical roles for the PHA implementation. Our role has involved the configuration of PeopleSoft 7.5 to 8.4 and PeopleSoft 8.8 
San Mateo Transportation had undergone an implementation of PeopleSoft financials and human resources.  Upon the completion of their implementation they solicited production support consulting services.  Oakland Consulting responded to the solicitation and was awarded a production support contract to provide PeopleSoft consulting resources on an as needed basis.  Oakland Consulting provided support to San Mateo Transportation for two years.
Howard University has contracted with Oakland Consulting Group for help in staff augmentation.  Oakland Consulting provided Howard with an Oracle DBA consultant who will establish, implement and support the database infrastructure for all business information systems for the University.
Oakland Consulting Group was awarded a contract by the State of California Department of Water Resouces for SAP software.  Oakland was the winner in a competitive bid to provide the DWR with SAP Professional.
Prince George County School District in Maryland has awarded Oakland Consulting a contract to provide Oracle software to the school district.  The software includes Application Server Enterprise, Express Server, Oracle iRecruitment, Warehouse Management and iProcurement.
