Position Title: BW/BOBJ Developer
Project Overview: This role performs these responsibilities following established project timelines: Support the business requirements gathering from the AESIP users and participate in the development of functional specifications. Work with the Lead Technical Architect, The AESIP Technical Lead and the AESIP ACBA LNOs to design BI applications for the AESIP users and following the AESIP SDLC methodology.
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Travel: No travel required. Onsite Monday - Friday
Compensation: DOE
Security Clearance: Must have a Secret or Interim Secret Clearnace
Required Skills/Experience:
- SAP Business Objects Reports Developer Subject matter expert with experience designing and deploying large SAP Business Objects implementations pulling from multiple data sources (including but not limited to ECC, BW, Oracle, etc.)
- Should have experience designing, documenting, developing and deploying all facets of SAP Business Objects Suite (Universes, Reports, Dashboards, Analytics, Crystal Reports, Data Services, Metadata Management, etc.)
- Candidate should have experience writing SQL, ABAP code and BEx queries in the BW environment and developing user Exits and Customer Exits, and using Excel to manipulate data
- Create High Level design documents, Develop technical specifications, define database usage/performance concepts, Develop user and customers Exits using ABAP
- Select and extract records, organize data, create, model, structure and populate the AESIP Business Warehouse
- Develops reports, queries and dashboards based on the operational data stored in the AESIP SAP data warehouse using the SAP Business Objects tools
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing and integration testing and follow AESIP development standards
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities and support training development
- Consultants must have positive attitude and willing to do what needs to be done on the project
Required:
- Security + Certification (This can be earned after you are selected for the position)
- Secret Clearance (interim is ok) • SAP Training Certificate (that they took the training - certification is not required)
- Army experience is preferred
