Oakland Wins Contract to Provide Information Technology Supplemental Staff to State of North Carolina

Oakland Consulting Group (Oakland) was awarded a prime contract by the North Carolina Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) Statewide IT Procurement Office to provide IT Supplemental Staff (ITSS) to State Agencies. The ITSS Program seeks to better equip the State to recruit, staff, and manage IT supplemental staff at market competitive rates. The goals of the program are to:

  • Improve cycle time and other process measures for staffing requests,
  • Improve quality of IT Supplemental Staff submitted by vendors and staffed by State of North Carolina, and
  • Achieve hourly rate savings for IT supplemental staff.

 

Oakland’s contract term is up to five years for the multi-award IDIQ contract with competition for task orders.

Oakland CEO Cedric E. Nash was honored with the President’s Award from The Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) at its 12th Annual IT Executive Achievement Award Ceremony in Atlanta on February 19. Nash was recognized for his outstanding contributions in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) field, his commitment to advancing others, and his accomplishments as a successful entrepreneur in the IT industry. 

“Cedric Nash’s achievements serve as a tangible example for aspiring entrepreneurs and accomplished leaders,” said ITSMF President Viola Thompson of Nash.  ITSMF is a national organization dedicated exclusively to fostering executive-level technology talent among African Americans.  

“It’s an honor to receive this award,” said Nash. “The award is really a testament to the incredible work and accomplishments of the entire Oakland team.”

Oakland Consulting Group, Inc. (Oakland) announced today that Jobe Jamerson has joined Oakland to lead Oakland’s work with the U.S. Army. Jobe will be based out of Oakland’s Headquarters Office in Lanham, MD. The Army represents one of Oakland’s most important clients. Oakland was recently awarded the $846 million ERP Services IDIQ contract, which Oakland sees as a significant opportunity to expand its Army work currently underway.

Jobe brings over 14 years of demonstrated success in both program management and business development for DoD and Federal civilian agencies at Accenture, most recently as Senior Manager. Cedric Nash, Oakland CEO, stated “We are very happy to have Jobe on our team. Jobe has demonstrated in multiple settings her ability to successfully manage and grow large services projects, including for the U.S. Army on its GFEBS project. We anticipate this significant area of Oakland’s business to grow in importance in the coming years”.

Oakland Consulting Group (Oakland) announced it is part of a team awarded a 5 year multi-award Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)  Business Systems Center (BSC) PIRMDS2 IDIQ contract, worth up to $809 million. The contract includes the following areas of scope in support of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system initiatives:

  • Data management services,
  • Solution Engineering Services including Lifecycle Management of Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERPs), DOD Enterprise and Legacy Systems that may include the need for any of the following services:
