Kathleen Jacobs joined Oakland Consulting Group, Inc. (Oakland) in 2007 as its Accounting and Human Resources Manager. Mrs. Jacobs is a vital point of contact for Oakland’s day-to-day operations. In her position, Mrs. Jacobs has been instrumental in creating company policies that not only improve company efficiency, but also foster a positive company environment - both critical to maintaining employee satisfaction and retention.
Mrs. Jacobs is responsible for all HR functions at Oakland including the administrative handling of W2’s, 1099’s, Independent Companies and Corporations. Mrs. Jacobs is knowledgeable in the many laws and regulations that affect companies like Oakland that provide nationwide staffing. In addition to Mrs. Jacobs’ many HR duties, she heads the accounting department, managing all AP/AR, invoice processing and payroll related functions; and she serves as the company’s Facility Security Officer (FSO). Prior to joining Oakland, Mrs. Jacobs held various Human Resources and Office Management positions over a span of 20 years within the medical healthcare industry.
Mrs. Jacobs holds a Bachelor of Art in Social Work from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
